The most popular license types are Registered Nurse (16.08%) and Certified Nurse Aide (12.83%), followed by
Cosmetologist (6.20%), Physician (5.35%), Professional Engineer (5.19%), Electrical Apprentice (5.00%), Certified Public Accountant (3.46%), Plumbing Apprentice (2.37%), Licensed Practical Nurse (2.21%), Journeyman Electrician (2.18%), and Massage Therapist (2.17%).
While the majority of licensees are located in the state of Colorado (72.26%), there are also a large number of licensees in
California (2.77%), Texas (2.62%), Florida (1.64%), Arizona (1.36%), Illinois (0.96%), New Mexico (0.85%), Washington (0.85%), New York (0.81%), Wyoming (0.78%), Kansas (0.74%), and Ohio (0.71%).

The total number of licensees have a noticeable increase in recent years. However, in 2019 and 2020, the number of licensees stayed at the same level of 2018 due to the pandemic.
Since then the number grows significantly by 17% in 2021, largely due to the demand generated by the pandemic.
We expect to see more individuals and facilities being licensed in the upcoming years.
